Retailers continue to report to us elevated concerns about abuse and violence directed towards store colleagues, anti-social behaviour, and shoplifting. Indeed, the latest official government figures show shoplifting in Scotland is now at a 10-year high.

As such, SRC is holding a Retail Crime Roundtable for retailers with the Conservatives’ frontbench justice spokespeople Russell Findlay MSP and Sharon Dowey MSP. The roundtable will be held in the Scottish Parliament on Thursday 19 September, from 10am, and provide an opportunity to discuss the situation and possible next steps with prominent Parliamentarians.
