BRC: Food Community Bulletin - September (1st Update 06.09.2024)

Hope you've had a great week. In the bulletin this week we have minutes from our Emerging Risks WG, which includes an insights document. Also minutes from our Labelling & Legislation WG. We've also got updates on free range eggs, food security, updates from FSA including papers for their next board meeting, webinars for 'Not for EU' labelling from Defra and more.

A reminder that we have some in-person working groups coming up - the Labelling & Legislation WG on 3rd October, and the Micro WG on 23rd October. Both will be at the BRC offices in Covent Garden in London, and a great chance for networking as well. 

Lastly, the BRC Climate Action Week dates have been announced. It starts on 30th September and features a series of webinars and activities addressing the challenges to transitioning to a Net Zero retail sector and galvanising collaboration on accelerating progress in decarbonisation. See more here.
