UK Border Controls - Meeting with Cabinet Office
We met Baroness Neville-Rolfe, Minister in the Cabinet Office and Baron Douglas-Miller, Parliamentary Under-Secretary in Defra to discuss preparations for the new UK border controls for food from January 31st. These introduce new certification for food, the biggest impact new export certificates for meat and dairy products. These precede full UK border checks, including physical checks at the end of April.
