Kris Hamer

Director of Insight, BRC

Kris Hamer leads the BRC Insight team and the delivery of all insight publications and events. He has spent his career working for UK retailers including Tesco, Waitrose, ASDA and SSP Group both instore and in central operations, leading teams that delivered analytical insights and operational change.

Kris has a PhD in applied statistical modelling of retail performance data and is a fellow of Henley Business School.

David Perks

Director of Retail Services, Objectivity

David is the Director of Retail Services at Objectivity. He’s spent 20 years in retail working across multiple sectors including Big Box Grocery, Convenience, Home Improvement, GM, and Forecourt retailing. He’s worked in senior roles in operations, commercial and transformation roles in a number of FTSE 100 businesses.

Matt Weaver

Consultancy Director, Objectivity

He’s worked in the IT industry for the last 20 years with almost half of that time in his current role as a Consultancy Director. At Objectivity, he met some exceptionally talented people that share similar views and ambitions to his own. It helped him realise that starts by building great teams. Matt spends his spare time learning about photography, which is his greatest passion. And when the weather doesn’t encourage outdoor activities, you’ll find him rolling back the years, writing code on various platforms and updating his blog.
