November restrictions reduced UK GDP

With England in lockdown and the rest of the country under various restrictions, November UK GDP, unsurprisingly, contracted. Following six consecutive months of increases, output fell by 2.6% month-on-month and by 8.9% year-on-year. In November, the UK output was 8.5% lower than in February 2020.
