- Aldi
- See here for Aldi’s opening times over the festive period. They advise customers to check their local stores details before they visit, as times may vary across Scotland and Wales.
- ASDA
- Use their store locator portal to find out further information, opening times are updated each week
- ASOS
- The latest delivery option is next day/ASOS Instant with last orders on 23 Dec, the cheapest is standard delivery with last orders on 20 Dec. Returns have been extended until 31 Jan

- Stores will be open 7 days a week between now and Christmas

- The final cut-off for online deliveries to arrive in time for Christmas is 22nd December
- JD Sports
- Many of their stores will be open later in the run-up to Christmas, please check the opening times of your local store for further details
- John Lewis
- Shops have the option to extend trading hours in response to local demand. Opening hours will vary and customers should check times of individual shops online at johnlewis.com over Christmas period.
- Majority of shops will be open from 09:00 - 17:00 on Christmas Eve and will be closed on Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
- Orders for Click and Collect can be made up until 22nd December for delivery to store on 23rd December (subject to change).
- Last order date in time for Christmas for standard home delivery is 18th December, for next-day home delivery orders must be placed by 22nd December (subject to change).
- M&S
- From 21 - 23 December, two-thirds of stores will be open until 00:00. The remainder will be open until 22:00
- All stores will be closed on Boxing Day

- Primark stores located in retail parks and major shopping centres will trade until 22:00 (earliest)
- 11 stores will open for 24 hours from 07:00 on 2 Dec - 3 Dec
- All other stores across England will trade until at least 20:00 on weekdays until 23 December

- Sainsbury's
- Vast majority of supermarkets will be open from 06:00 - 00:00 from 21 - 23 Dec
- On Christmas Eve, stores will open from 06:00 - 00:00, on Christmas Day all stores will be closed

- Waitrose
- Customers should check opening times of their local store using the branch finder
- In the days leading up to Christmas Eve, the majority of stores will open for extended hours (supermarkets - until 23:00, convenience stores until 00:00)
- On Christmas Eve & New Year's Eve, the majority of shops will be open from 07:00 - 18:00 and 08:00 - 18:00 (respectively)
- Most shops will be closed on Boxing Day and New Year's Day - with some exceptions such as service stations
