The BRC has written to the Payment Systems Regulator ahead of the publication of its long-term Strategy (expected in June) to call for the regulation of payment card schemes fees and the abolition of interchange fees.

We also shared a briefing with MPs (see below), documenting thirty years of extortionate and ever increasing card fees levied on UK businesses, requesting that they do the same to ensure robust regulatory measures in the PSR Strategy.
