BRC hosted a session about the recent Open 3P Data Standard for packaging. Open 3P is effectively a common language for all packaging materials in the industry aimed to support efficient and consistent data capture, sharing and reporting on packaging.

Attendees received a comprehensive presentation from Sophie Walker, CEO and Co-Founder at Dsposal, who led the Innovate UK funded project which developed the standard, but also heard perspectives from retail (Waitrose) and packaging manufacturer (Berry Global) on the potential of the standard within the industry.
