BRC / Google CEO Roundtable: Enduring Consumer Shifts

Globally, the consumer and business use of technology has leapt forward 5 years in 5 months. We’ve seen a 60% increase in internet usage overall and online searches of online shopping and how to buy online grew by 200% worldwide. Few industries have been as deeply affected by the pandemic and its impact as retail.

On Tuesday 14 April, the BRC and Google co-hosted a roundtable exploring Google’s brand-new research on the enduring shifts in consumer behaviour. This research shed some light on which consumer trends are most likely to stick after the pandemic and why.
