Reducing the Carbon Footprint of your Property Portfolio

This week, we hosted our first cross-community event to help retailers reduce the carbon emissions within their estates, attended by a wide range of stakeholders from across the retail industry. Our event was sponsored by RSK, and we were joined by our Climate Action Roadmap Partners Mitsubishi Electric and Amber.

The event was a great opportunity to explore the dependencies for member Net Zero targets on the sustainability of retail property portfolios, discuss how to achieve the necessary reductions in Scope 1 & 2 emissions, and compare notes on the challenges that this presents within the context of leases, retrofitting, data, costs and nature. The event concluded with an hour of networking and lunch.
