Defra Food Strategy

Defra has published its new food strategy. Although not as interventionist as the Dimbleby report published last year there are still challenges, particularly around data and future labelling. It also remains to be seen how co-ordinated the strategy is in terms of future policy from other departments such as DHSC and Home Office.

Our briefing, below, summarises the report and highlights the key challenges for our industry.
