The Welsh Retail Consortium (WRC) published its first report into charitable giving in 2018, showing Welsh retailers had raised or donated almost £8 million to good causes.
The report provided fantastic examples of how retailers up and down the country work in partnership with charities and groups to make a real difference to local people and communities.
The retail industry in Wales continues to make a positive impact, with shops of all shapes and sizes playing a hugely important role raising and donating money, collaborating with local projects, providing surplus food donations and supporting volunteering.
