BRC Briefing: Labour’s Plan to Make Work Pay

On 24 May the Labour Party published its Plan to Make Work Pay: Delivering a New Deal for Working People. This document built on earlier policy document and announcements over the last two years. It specifically said that the aim would be to ‘boost wages, make work more secure and support working people to thrive – delivering a genuine living wage, banning exploitative zero hours contracts and ending fire and rehire’.

Following the publication, we have also updated our grid with a detailed analysis of the proposals, and we welcome your views on it. Please contact Luiza (luiza.gomes@brc.org.uk) to share your feedback.
