Boots UK is delighted to be attending WorldSkills LIVE, the UK’s largest experiential skills, apprenticeships and careers event at the NEC, Birmingham between the 21st – 23rd November. This is a great collaboration with Rethink Retail (an initiative by the British Retail Consortium) and a fantastic opportunity to join forces with; Sainsbury’s, Amazon and Pret a Manger to showcase the wide variety of career opportunities within retail.

With 800 million people walking through our doors every year, it is no surprise that we are already the market leader in Beauty. With this in mind we will be bringing a bit of sparkle to WorldSkills by providing an immersive and interactive beauty zone for everyone visiting the Rethink Retail stand (H6-C-5). Enabling visitors to experience some of the latest products available in our stores and encouraging them to create their own soft shimmer or bold lip looks. Our Beauty Crew will be on hand to give some hints and tips to #apply confidence and offer encouragement to unleash visitor’s inner creativity and create their unique look.

Members of our Early Careers team will also be at the event to provide an overview of our wide range of career pathways and early career programmes. Our programmes provide an opportunity to gain a true breadth and depth of experiences, develop skills, build knowledge and provides all the stretch and challenge needed to accelerate a career with us.
